This is set with amazing view down the valley. Very friendly welcome and knowledgeable staff. This is a free place to visit and is very well thought out and loads to learn about the area. Very nice coffee shop on site as well

This place seems to be a bit of a con, with a fancy title but not much to back that up. It contains the local library, a few brochures for local sites of interest and a café where the staff don't seem to like English...More

The graveyard is very overgrown but the ground is owned by the Church and not by our building. The Church are trying their best to remedy this situation by forming a group of volunteers to maintain the grounds.

Had a fabulous and informative visit down into the coal mine. All the guides are ex miners and Ian our guide was terrific. Great sense of humour as well. Very good displays.

I assume you mean the steam train. It stops at Bitpit. An old coal mine that has a museum and tea room. You can also go down the mine too
