I often visit this estate on a walk and see so many other people doing exactly the same thing. Lots for little ones to do in two playgrounds, a cafe with lovely warm coffee and teas and eats to warm you up!

Absolutely beautiful. My children love going for walks to the gnoll. A beautiful quiet place to go, you can take your dogs for walks here. Children's playgrounds are here and a cafe. Feed the ducks also. We love it here.

Brilliant parkland with some good walks taking you up to quiet areas for those who like to stretch their legs. Plenty for children, with play areas for different age groups, ducks to feed, small cafe and plenty of parking on site. Plenty of room to fly a kite or play football and there is coarse fishing in season. Love the... More

Absolutely gorgeous. Ideal for walking, running or chilling. Breathtaking views from the top lake. Family friendly. Lots of space to run and play. Two fabulous parks and a friendly atmosphere in the visitors centre/cafe.

The Gnoll is well worth a visit both for families and anyone who enjoys a good walk. Excellent for walking a dog and the cafe facilities are good. Only downside is the parking charge which is a charge for all day. A two tier short/long stay charging structure would be fairer.

Great for kids and dogs, children's entertainment in the summer, lovely walks, two children's play areas, ducks to feed, large lake, cafe and easy parking. Great scenery on the doorstep.

A FAB family place to go any time of year. LOADS for children, a great place to dog walk, theme days throughout the year and very picturesque to train. Cannot count the number of visits myself and my family have made here. I even studied for exams , lying on the grass under the trees.

We had a lovely walk today. It was a bit muddy but then it is still winter. Having just moved to the area I look forward to many more walks with the doggies in the coming months and picnics in the summer.

The gnoll park is a nice place to visit. Great rolling fields and hills. If you out of the main area it is so beautiful. They also have a nice lower pond where you can feed ducks. There is also a wooden play area that my family Love. Great for walking dogs.

I've lived in this area for years and regularly walk my dogs around the estate. Unfortunately, whilst there are still nice walks, the culling of trees last year have drastically spoiled the landscape. I only hope there will be substantial replanting to repair the damage done to this previously beautiful area. The walk around the lakes are still lovely and... More
