Perfect low key island in Exuma to go. Beautiful beach, coves, and waters. You can hike through the 'jungle', visit the monument, find a cove to relax, snorkel, and visit the few restaurants on the island. Recommend the St. Francis Resort-food great and the company better. Meet the local boaters and share stories.

An amazing beach on the backside , it's a short walk from the side of the island facing Georgetown. There are many hiking trails throughout the island too, flat and you can even do them barefoot. We rented a boat from minns and Stocking was a regular stop.

We went there twice. There are a couple of water taxis from George Town (15$ round-trip p.p.) that all take you to the same place, the chat'n chill. Chat'n chill is a nice place where you grab drinks and foot (especially conch salad including feeding sting rays with the wastes). But we couldn't chill just the whole day in the... More

Can't rate it highly enough. A beautiful beach with a rustic beach bar / restaurant Chat n Chill - you can explore the island more but we were happy enough to stay right at the front! Had a great time feeding conch to the Stingrays and were lucky enough to spot a small pod of dolphins and swam out with... More

Stocking Island was so much fun. Incredibly relaxing, and such a great way to chill out. The Chat and Chill had great food, and better drinks. The stingrays were fun to play with.

My boyfriend and I visited Stocking Island 2 Sundays ago, we got their early so we could do some exploring before lunch, maybe it was just us, but we had no idea how or where to go on foot? So we just ended up hanging out for a couple hours outside Chat N Chill, taking pictures and reading our books.... More

We loved spending the day here at Chat and Chill. The hammock was my wife's special place. We played in the water with stingrays and enjoyed libations and a great lunch.

Most people just go to the Chat N Chill area (which is great) but we rented a boat and experienced a majority of the island which is the way to go.

Great beach with relaxed style. Good bar and grill helps the time slip slowly away. Be careful: naps are known to be contagious at this white sandy paradise.

Everything you read, this place is a "must do". Well, we did and were unimpressed. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but maybe it just doesn't live up to all of the hype.
