This beach is awesome for snorkeling, the variety of corals is stunning, it looks like a submerged coloured forest. Also the lush vegetation around the beach and the white rocks at its southern end male the place incredible.

Lighthouse Beach was such an incredible adventure - worth all the bumpy travel to get there!! We were awarded with an entire beach - well two beaches really - all to ourselves!! Best advice is leave in the morning, (it took us about 1 hour twent min from savsnaah sound area) make sure you have a good map to get... More

This was such a beautiful place and I really do hope to go back one day. Many people warned me about the road and maybe it's because I'm used to gravel roads, but I didn't think this road was as bad as others make it sound. It's bumpy, you have to watch where you're going, it gets narrow, and I... More

Was here in Feb 2017 dont have to have a 4x4 we saw minivans come all the way to beach. Go slow and dont go straight through at Bannermann town, go to the right on paved road. You will know you are going the right way if you pass the wishing well for Princess Cayes. Take the gravel road you... More

Place was beautiful but took about 2hours to find the road to get to it. Really need a 4x4. We had a rented one. It barely fit on the road at times. Absolutely beautiful beach.

In my opinion, Lighthouse is the best part of Eleuthera. It is beautiful, good snorkeling, and usually fairly private.

After reading the many reviews, we wanted to try to see this beach. It was most certainly beautiful and very sparsely inhabited, but as noted by many the road is rugged. We also took the advice of other travelers to stay on the paved road until after the Princess Cays hut and in a mile turn left, but even at... More

Beautiful beaches and scenery! You will need a AWD/4x4 vehicle to get back there, but worth every bump in the rough road......Make sure to take water/food as there isn't any available.

One of the more elusive of the 'Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera'. Maybe the drive is not for everyone, but there is a reason why many of the rental vehicles on Eleuthera are 4X4 and a little on the well-worn side... and this beach is it!. Absolute paradise!

We were the only people on the beach, along with a friendly stingray and great fish on the reefs. The beach is absolutely idyllic! The road to get back to the beach is bumpy but no problem with a 4 wheel drive and if you take you time. The water is the perfect turquoise and the small cliffs are easy... More
