This beach is on the Caribbean side and is gorgeous. The water is calm and you can walk out for at least 1/2 mile and the water will never get above your chest. The beach stretches almost a mile and is not crowded. You will see rays, starfish, sand dollars and other small sea animals. A great place to while... More

This is another very shallow warm water beach ideal for swimming and playing in the water. Ideal for families with kids. It was very calm on a day when the atlantic side of the island had wind and rough water. It looks very different depending on the tide and whether it is sunny or cloudy. That may explain some of... I'd call this a pretty perfect beach. No waves, but perfect scenery and a lovely view. Never saw more than three other people there.

This beach was easy to find. Nice beach, with very shallow water going out pretty far. Nice walk for the length of the beach. We parked up top one time, the next time it looked like people had dug a rut and we parked at the bottom. It's a really short walk anyways. There did seem to be many mosquitoes... More

I hesitate to write things like this because it definitely will increase the visitor count. My wife and I were married there three years ago. It is truly magnificent. Of course we go back every year and it is still the same. You know how some things just can't get any better.

We went there around 5 pm (around 30 mins before sunset). We could take our non 4WD Nissan with some difficulty. However, as soon as we got out, we were terribly bitten by mosquitos. We took a picture and left as soon as we could.

We stayed in Governor's Harbor and we wanted to find a nice beach on the Caribbean side -- this beach was PERFECT. Secluded, easy to get to, warm, shallow water and soft sand. We floated in the ocean on inner tubes then returned to the sand for a nap. Shade and sun available. The road out to the beach is... More

This is a beautiful beach but a little tricky to get to. The beach is long with lots of nice sand few people. The water is very shallow, I think an adult can go out 200 yards before it over your head. We didn't have children with us but I was thinking what a great beach it would be for... More

We rented a house off of this beach. The water is very calm. My son enjoyed rolling around on the beach while my husband and I kayaked. We saw some sting rays while kayaking. There are no waves so its great for families with little kids. The water is so shallow that you can walk in for a while. We... More
