We went out to Devil's Backbone to do some snorkelling. I wouldn't want to swim out from the beach. We went on a charter boat so we could stop at a few different parts of the reef. We saw a few sea turtle, sting rays and brought back some big conch for dinner. There are boats that pass through that... More

Very scenic, locals will navigate large visiting yachts through this tough channel, which is fun to watch. It was peaceful, beautful and clean.

Unbeknownst to us, when you snorkel Devil's Backbone you need to have a buoy with a flag trailing behind you. Not sure the speed boat would have seen it. For the easiest way to see the Backbone, take the road to Preacher's Cave and then follow it to the beach. This is one of the best beaches on Eleuthera, and you will really see anyone here.

Cool place to snorkel. Lots of fish and turtles here. What we liked most was that there were different colors of coral. Great place!
