Princess Cay’s is the “private” area for Princess cruises, and has been built up pretty well. Large beach area, with chaise lounges for pretty much everyone on the ship, they also have covers (Clamshells) that you can rent for $20 (US) a day to be...More

We booked the dune buggy tour and the staff was just great. Bernadette and Roscoe along with another gentleman were attentive to our every need. We ordered lunch from a Bahamian restaurant and it was delivered still hot, I don't know how, to the beach....More

Basically a very nice day at the beach. Tender from the ship was an easy considering potential numbers involved and very professionally run. At the end of the day contrary to other reviews, just leave early or wait until the last tender to avoid the...More

Not all that exciting. Snorkeling is nonexistent. They feed the fish off the dock for the people on the observation deck. The food was absolutely horrible and when I say horrible I mean it was worse than any fast food I have ever seen. The...More

If you get bore on the ship, just get on the boat off to the island. There is a bit of que. You may have to compete for chairs too or you can pay your own. Beach is not good for swim. Lots of rocks...More

This was the first stop on our Princess cruise, and we were really looking forward to it. What a disappointment! First, you have to take tenders to get there, which means waiting in queue for more than an hour. Then you have to find a...More

This was our first stop on a cruise with Princess. Beautiful beach with lots of beach toys for those energetic beach goers, or for those who like to sit and take in the beauty. Nice shopping too.

This is part of your cruise package, you can either take the tender or stay on board. We rented a catamaran and enjoyed the water, then took a nice lazy nap in the sun. If you decide to go... try the street tacos, they were... More

I am going to Princess Cays on a Carnival cruise. Is it necessary to book a beach party pack excursion, or can I get to the beach on my own and enjoy a beach day ?

I am not sure as Princess is different. I would suggest to call Carnival cruises. They will confirm. As for princess it is no charge to enjoy the beach. Great place.
