Loved seeing this old shipwreck and letting my mind drift to how different things were back during prohibition and think of what could've gone on in the ship back then. Amazing site and snorkel opportunity. Must do while in Bimini!

Ship sits in about 15 feet of crystal clear blue water. You can snorkel the entire inside of the ship and see a lot of different fish and sea creatures. Great for beginner snorkelers since it is fairly shallow and the water is so clear....More

Sapona is easily reached by boat and offers good snorkling as well as popular climbing if and jumping off shipwreck. Teenagers get a thrill out of it. Best if combined with shark diving/snorkling off the reefs nearby , check Neal Watson

Fish, fish, fish, colors, lobsters, corals and sponges! One of the best sites in Bimini. When travelling in Bimini it is a MUST event!

Great dive and snorkeling shipwreck experience. A few sections, lots of fish and plenty to see. Have been here several times and love the history associated with Sapona.

Fun place to go on a boat. Climb on the wreck and jump into the water. Next time I'll bring water shoes and gloves because the metal shards are rusty and hot...not so kind on the skin.

In an ethereal setting, the old concrete ship rusted in the aquamarine waters off Bimini. 15-20 feet underwater the old ship provided a superb snorkeling location. We saw stingrays, grouper, and many other fish. A must see. Do not miss.
