Great market shopping and good restaurants. On weekends there is good entertainment at the restaurants/bars. Very busy when cruise ships are in.

Well that is what is there, that's it. However, the shop keepers are a delight, you can talk all day and end up only seeing a couple of stalls. The wears that you can buy are about 1/2 made in China and 1/2 local crafts. If you are at the Lucayan and not on the all-inclusive, I expect this is... More

This is a great outdoor marketplace with bars, shops, restaurants, convenience stores and more all along the marina. It's overall a fun vibe, very family friendly; regardless of whether your family has a newly married couple,,young kids, teens, grandparents or everybody!! Some places are more pricey than others, but it's moderately priced on average. There are straw and arts &... More

We went to the market place during our stay in the island. At first we were there at around 4pm, not much people around and the place is very quiet. We walked towards the backend of the market where there are lots of local vendors. Yes they do sell the same stuff and they all want your sale so this... More

Loved the trinkets and Bahamas clothing, locals were very nice. The Bahamas is not a poor country, they don't barter they're product.

We went to the marketplace. It was nice to visit, but we found that all the vendors sold pretty much the same stuff. Some of the vendors were overly pushy and pulled you into their booth. We wanted a nice leisure day to walk around at our own pace and browse, however, this was not possible with a majority of... More

Port Lucaya Market had everything from hand made crafts to souvenirs, t-shirts, ball caps, etc. This place had drug stores, high-end jewellery, clothing and perfume shops. We could not even count the number of local vendor, restaurants and bars. All of the vendors are willing to wheel and deal on any of the goods for sale. There were atm machines... More
