The marine life is really cool here, the animals are generally mature and not the small ones that I'm used to seeing at an aquarium. The architecture of the place was really neat, and you could truly tell this was a prestige resort. We enjoyed seeing the sharks, the turtles, and all of the fish this place had to offer.

I have been to the Atlantis more than 40 times, and this area always continues to amaze. There must be 20 to 30 different areas to view almost every marine inhabinent imaginable. Included are many types of sharks, stingrays, and groupers. Barracudas, Jewel fish, eels, jellyfish, Lion fish and many species of mult-colored tropical fish.

I came here as part of a Holland America Line (HAL) excursion titled, "Discover Atlantis." While I enjoyed the tour of Atlantis and the aquariums, the actual organization by the local tour operator once we got on shore was definitely below average. My recommendation is to try and do this on your own by catching a taxi to the resort.... More

All of the pools and lagoons at Atlantis appear to be well-maintained and all the animals are properly treated. We were impressed with the range of aquatic lift on the premises.

We were gob smacked by the marine habitat and took a lot of photos. This exhibit is included in the price I believe and is worth your time.

The Marine Habitat at Atlantis has something for everyone. There are more fish species than I could ever name, crustaceans, rays, sharks, turtles & probably others I'm forgetting. These are spread out throughout the grounds, so it's not like a typical aquarium. We just happened upon different areas in our travels, and spent lots of time just watching the sea... More

So interesting to walk around looking at all of the wildlife. We were surprised that there weren't a lot of birds on site, but the marine animals were abundant. Sea turtles, nurse sharks, eels, fish...very cool.
