Good beach to walk and enjoy the sound of the waves; clear, sparkling water; and soft sand. Walked a brisk half hour this morning (round trip) without running out of beach. Not crowded and not commercial. Relaxing and beautiful.

Well worth the short bus ride from the city. There is a nice public area away from the hotels that is real clean and pleasant.

The water is blue green and beautiful. The things you can do here is amazing. They must hand rake the sand because it is always perfect.

White sand, turquoise water = a great beach! This beach in no outer islands, but, if your interested in finding shells this is an OK sight during low tide during blustery weather-

If you want to experience the cleanest and most beautiful beach in Nassau take the ride over to Cable Beach. It's so easy and cheap to take the city bus from downtown. Just hop on the # 10 or # 12 and it will stop...More

From our experience, it was seafood growing on a sandbar and areas of coral reef. We initially thought they were areas of deeper water, but we were totally wrong!
