Drove away from the crowds to this small but dense jungle and it was really cool, some dense and full of sinkholes!!! But was really cool, was how much vegetation was in the national forest.

I don't think the jitneys go out there, and it's well past the airport. i would say you'd need to book a taxi to take you and stay there then bring you back. Might actually be cheaper to rent a car for the day.

You could - it's only about 40 minutes drive - but organizing your transport would be your challenge. We rented a car for the day and used it to explore. You could get there by taxi, but you'd need your taxi to wait or... More
