Very nice sandy beach. Being on north side of island it creates very dangerous waves so be careful. Beach access is very hard to find.

Expect a busy beach that has all the locals offering up coconut bevys, chairs and hairbraiding. Really comfortable taking our young kids here to play in the water. If coming from the Cruise ship port: grab a $4 per person taxi as soon as you...More

$55 for a couple of sunbeds and a parasol !!!! - I must look either very rich or plain stupid. Once we'd bartered him right down to a price that was sensible, we were positioned close to the shoreline......only to be invaded by crowds from...More

This beach is a classic tropical beach, with the softest, golden sand I have ever known, palm trees and all that goes with the Bahamas, but do beware of a couple of things: The beach is quite steep when it enters the water and either...More

Great time at the beach. Even with a couple of different ships in port the beach wasn't too crowded. Definitely barter with the people providing umbrellas and chairs because they will try to charge you more than you have to pay.

This is a very nice, clean, relaxing beach. There are people walking around selling snacks and drinks, but no beer. We were expecting tiki huts and things like on Junkanoo, but there is nothing like that here. But the beach is much nicer, so it's...More

This is a great public beach accessed from Paradise Island. We found that the public entrance farthest from the Paradise Island Bridge (closer to the One and Only Ocean Club) made for a less crowded and less wavy beach experience. We even saw a sea...More

This is a lovely beach, close the the Atlantis, which was built since our long stay in Nassau, the beach is very beautiful, I say this even though we are not beach people, clean & soft.

The beach itself is beautiful. The sand is soft and the water was perfect, or at least my feet thought so. It’s a $4/pp cab ride from the cruise terminal to the beach. You have to walk up a hill and you are greeted right...More

No it's public beach. There will be locals there trying to rent you chairs sell drinks etc. But you can go down to a hotels beach and order drinks of the beach wait staff. They will serve you for cash.
