Lots of options for food and entertainment. Fun place. The beach is OK for swimming not great but there are good facilities for showering and sand removal. Worth a visit.

I like Junkanoo Moore at the end of the day or very early in the morning, when local sellers and tourist are still sleeping. The sunsets are great and the view of the Faro is nice for a good picture.

I was not very impressed with this beach. This is a very small beach that was crowded with passengers from the two cruise ships that were in port. It's within walking distance of the cruise port, but it the beach was rather dirty. There was...More

I visited Junkanoo Beach on a lovely sunny day, the water was calm. You can see Atlantis from the beach. The beach is close to Arawak Cay which serves delicious meals. I would recommend that area to all visitors to the Bahamas.

Public beach with no entrance fee. There is a risk, that beach could be overcrowded when there are several bigh cruise ships in port. Beach is 10-15min of walk from port. (visited 17th November, 2016)

The beach was great. Chairs were $25 all day with free drinks!! The service was amazing. We ate at the Sushi place across the street and that was awesome too!!

We walked the 20 minutes to Junkanoo from our Cruise Ship. We stopped at a few shops along the way, so it took longer. We were quickly approached by someone to rent chairs. It was cheap. The beach was a little crowded but relatively clean....More

This is a local's beach and I was saddened by the trash on the beach as I watched families picnic and leave their trash on the beach. KFC boxes, used condoms, beer bottles broken everywhere, soda cans, overflowing trashcans, what a waste of a beautiful...More
