This fort gives you a good understanding of its strategic location. The view from the ramparts are beautiful. It was a hard life for the soldiers who lived there.

A tour through the old fort guarding the harbor. A reenactment of a canon firing into the harbor is every day 11;30. Good tour. Buy the tickets at the guard house at the entrance. Seniors get a discount.

It's a shame all these slaves were put to work for a fort that was ever needed, but it's a wonderful iece of the Bahanmian history. We definitely enjoyed seeing it.

An interesting part of the history of this little island where I took my daughter to see where she was born in 1967.

Amazing black history tour. Short ceilings here so TALL people beware. We had an excellent tour guide that told us some extra tidbits about Fort Charlotte and it's importance pertaining to Black History.

I believe it opens at 9:00am. The entrance closes at 4:00pm, but you can stay inside until 5:00pm.
