Great deal in Nassau!

Very well done with an exact replica of a private ship inside the building and a live pirate too! Lots of information presented in easy to read, interesting displays. Really... read more

I love history, and felt a trip down a mock up of a dock and pirate ship from a bygone era was just ideal. This attraction is quaint, and given a pub is part of the site (kids can drink a soda), what could be better on a hot, hot summers day. Clearly something for tourists to do, it is... More

The pirate museum was interesting. It is air conditioned and a walk through tour. I read the reviews and was excited for this tour and left a little disappointed. It reminded me of the Disney World pirates tour except not on a boat. There were a few trinkets and swords at the end but not a whole bunch of memorabilia.... More

It really didn't catch my interest. It was like someone cut pages out of an encyclopedia and formed a museum around them. For the $13 entry fee, it wasn't that good. The best thing about it was that it was air conditioned.

Finding this place by accident, we actually had a pretty good time. We went at about 1 in the afternoon and were the only ones in the place. I liked that I could walk around at my pace. LOTS of information! we had 2 kids with us, so they got a bit bored reading all the placards, but they enjoyed... More

Scared the living day lights out of me and the children and we absolutely loved it! Great history but great exhibits too! We screamed and laughed lots and was a fab start to a rainy day in Nassau!

A hit with the children. The staff are so good...really helpful and they bring the whole "self guided" tour to life. Without the knowledge of the staff it would have been just another boring museum.

I visited the Pirates of Nassau Museum last week and loved it! From the pirate who met us at the door and posed for pictures to the replica pirate ship and shanty town, this museum is a winner for anyone interested in pirates. I especially loved that they have a wheelchair lift so that those of us who are unable... More

Our 9 & 12 yo kids thought this was pretty cool, especially the pirate spruiking for business out front, who kept us all entertained.. Very basic as museums go but with more than you'd expect, it was definitely worth the trip and educational too. We were almost alone (we were there in January) which just added to the creepiness our... More

Walked through. It was no charge. It was cool in side with the ac. The story behind and the history with in was very neat to listen to. The details with the set up was very nice. Recommend!!!
