My wife and I used them a couple of times, and they were plain jane, but did their job. Nothing fancy here, folks, just a water taxi to Paradise Island.

Inexpensive and informative way of going from Paradise Island to town and back. Guides on boat have a lot of fascinating information to share about the Bahamas.

This is a much cheaper and more scenic way to get between Paradise Island and downtown Nassau. Only $4 each way as compared to $15-$20 of cab ride and traffic if going on land. However, your experience may be dependent on which boat you get because they're all operated by different people. And which boat you get on is based... More

It can be a bit of a wait until the next boat ride, but the show is worth the wait. They also sell "refreshments" at the Paradise isle side of the trip.

We took the water taxi from the port at Nassau over to Paradise Island. Our tour guide was funny and made the short ride fun! He gave information about the resorts in the area and the homes on the island (who owned them/history). We enjoyed it!

This a must to take boat ride when you are off the port from a cruise ship. You will see so much beautiful scenery during the 15 mimute ride even including your own cruise ship from water level.

Very enjoyable round trip service from Pleasure Island to Downtown Nassau. This service runs every 30 minutes and crew work to inform passengers of the sights along the way. Much cheaper than a taxi ride ($8 round trip on the ferry). Also witnessed crew take exceptional care of some ladies in electric wheelchairs and needing assistance. They treated these folks... More

This is a fun way to get over to Paradise Island, and while on the way there they tell about some of the history that has taken place in Nassau. You get to see where some movies have been made, and I always enjoy looking for fish around the taxi at either dock.

We traveled over to Nassau from PI one day during our trip. It was a nice alternative to a cab. The water taxis seem to be privately owned so don't expect uniforms or fancy vessels. In fact, we saw one being worked on and the fellow was just hammering random scrap boards onto it. Each boat has a guy who... More
