We visited this spot using the free Bahamas Trailblazer Map for a self-guided walking tour of downtown Nassau. It is close to the library and Parliament Square. The area is a War Memorial and worth a brief visit and photo.
These are very pleasant gardens close to the shopping and restaurant/bar area of Nassau, which encapsulate the Cenotaph dedicated to those who have given their lives on behalf of others during times of conflict..

Nice that they recognize the sacrifices of the lives lost during WWI & WWII. Memorials with flowers and pictures made for a nice display. It wasn't as opulent as you would see in the states, however they are making an effort to honor their heros....More
