First let me say is watch for the bracelet scam. DO NOT let anyone put anything on your arm. I had heard of this other places but not here. They tie it on saying it is free but then after it is on request a...More

Get all your souvenirs here. Always bargain or move on to the next vendor!! Everything you need to remember your vacation. And just steps away is the liquor store. Get your liquor there it’s cheaper than the cruise ships and the airport!

Tip: bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. Lots of t-shirts, bags, jewelry, and trinkets too.

I found that there was nothing distinctive about this craft market. The goods were pretty much the same form booth to booth and there were the usual made in China souvenirs blended in with the locally made items. I also found it a bit crowded.

I guess if you visit Nassau it’s tradition to visit the straw market. It’s hot and cramped with constant women after you to buy from them. Always giving you “deals”. Just make sure you barter for everything. While it is cramped and the women are...More

Everyone is selling the same stuff and it's a maze and everyone is trying to make a sale very pushy. I didn't really like it felt overwhelmed.

Many many vendors with a lot of cheaply made souvenirs and tshirts. Very crowded and in my opinion, unpleasant. I would recommend skipping this unless you are looking for a lot of cheap things to bring home with you. The restaurants surrounding are also tourist...More

Whew. We went to the straw market before. But this time, it seemed the ladies were hounding us, and everything was over priced. It was like a tarp tent city. It was hot. But, it is something to see. Overall, not a great experience, although...More

It's a very short walk, almost just outside the port.

As soon as you port there is a market. And you can walk off/on board all day if you like. Or grab a cab to the beach for $2 a person Atlantis is also $2-3 cab per person.

There are some stalls in an open areas across from Senor Frogs where you could view easily. (as mrcree mentioned) I preferred this area, the woman are busy weaving the straw right in front of you. In the closed area its all... More
