Oh Look, Cruise Ships...

Not real sure this qualifies as an attraction. We walked by the dock every day. Always crowded. Very touristy, of course. We could see it from our room at the Hilton. As many as... read more

This was my first impression of Nassau (besides the water in the channel to the dock) and it was underwhelming at best. You can see some of the damage left behind by Hurricane Matthew last October, but besides that it felt chaotic, dingy and not a place I'd want to be by myself. I was glad we had pre-arranged transportation... More

Not real sure this qualifies as an attraction. We walked by the dock every day. Always crowded. Very touristy, of course. We could see it from our room at the Hilton. As many as five cruise ships ported at one time. Where you would catch the water taxi to Paradise Island. A real madhouse when it was time for disembarking... More

The port is quite disgusting. I know that all cruise ports are very commercial and a the cruise-lines attempt at a money grab. I have come to expect these realities. This place is the worst cruise port that I have ever been to. It is so so so gross. If you are getting off a cruise ship and have to... More

Huge place there was 4cruise ships at once, it was busy but manageable. Plenty of shops within minutes Within meters there are ferry boat and taxi stands I recommend take a taxi instead of waiting around for the ferry to arrive and for passengers to get on/offf

Cruise ship debarked passengers at this area for shore excursions. It's totally dilapidated and in complete disrepair. Absolutely nothing to see here unless you are a wooden pallet enthusiast or like rusted maritime equipment and junk piled onto a loading dock...

Located near Senor Frogs downtown. There is a square with vendors in case you need some souvenirs while waiting for a ferry to Balmoral Island.

Not much there, they are under construction and limited vendors available for shopping. Should be better after finished.

Major disappointment to learn rep standing at tourism booth tried to book our group on snorkle trip with small time boat captain. Very nasty captain trying to sell us his charter. Very aggressive and nasty. Never did say what the name of the boat was. Just wanted deposit for trip. Found out later Royal Caribbean had cancelled all snorkle excursions.... More

It's really busy with the cruise ships, locals harassing tourists, and vendors. Nice to see the ships but that's about it.

I am staying at the Melia and took the bus to the wharf. Well worth the 1.25 bus fare. Nice to see the cruise ships. It was a nice, cheap afternoon in town.
