Description:

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas is Nassau's leading full service dive centre....

Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas is Nassau's leading full service dive centre. Originally opened in 1979, the operation has grown to a fleet of nine dive vessels, with five of the boats over 40 feet in length. Located on the Southwest side of Nassau/New Providence Island, Stuart Cove's is in the ideal location to take advantage of the most diverse diving the Bahamas has to offer. Walls, reefs, wrecks and sharks! There something for everyone from beginner divers to experts. Holiday travelers who have never been diving before will enjoy the 3-hour "Learn To Dive Program". In this program guests will be introduced to the equipment used in the sport of diving in a swimming pool, receive an introduction into the basics of diving, and then complete their first ocean dive. All of this takes place under the supervision of a professional dive instructor. 2-tank dive trips are offered both moring and afternoon with 2-tank Shark dives offered every afternoon. Night dives are available on selected evenings with a minimum of 6 guests. Dive sites encompass steep vertical walls that plummet to 6,000 feet of depth, shallow tropical reefs, 13 different locations containing ship or airplane wrecks, and numerous locations that were used as underwater movie sets for feature films. The feature activities at Stuart Cove's for our divers is our "Extreme Shark Adventure". The Shark Adventure program is a 2-tank dive trip that takes divers on an underwater encounter with Caribbean Reef Sharks. On the first dive divers participate in a "free swim" with the sharks along a beautiful wall. On the second dive, the group forms a semi-circle on the 40-foot bottom and watch while a professional shark feeder enters the water with a box of bait. Upon reaching the bottom, the feeder begins feeding the sharks with the aid of a pole spear. To say the sharks come close to the divers is an understatement - they are everywhere! However, Stuart Cove's is not exclusively about diving. It's about sharing the underwater world with as many people as possible. Have a non-diving buddy? We have snorkel dedicated trips that take guests to a variety of shallow reef sites and even visits the sharks weather permitting. Want something more exciting? How about our personal submarines? SUB Bahamas takes adventurers on a trip around a shallow reef and allows them to snorkel as well on a custom boat.

My girlfriend and I did the resort dive at Stuart Cove and had Renee as our dive guide. She was friendly and helpful. It was my girlfriends first time diving with tanks and Renee took the extra time to help her get comfortable with the feeling of breathing underwater. The spot they took us to dive was great, crystal clear... More

The Nassau SUB Adventure was really three adventures in one. We were picked up at the Cruise Ship Port and driven to the Stuart Cove's Dive facility. Their facility is on the the other side of Nassau from the Cruise Ship Port. So, we got to see a great deal of the island on both the trip there and the... More

My best friend and I booked a snorkel tour to celebrate her 40th birthday. It did not disappoint! We were on a Royal Caribbean ship, we got off the boat and told people that we were with Stuart's Cove, we were directed to the "pink and white bus." The Stuart's Cove shuttle came and picked us up and gave us... More

Loved both of our excursions with Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas. Staff is friendly and they showed us some great places to snorkel and dive. They also added surprise experiences to swim with sharks. Knowledgeable, patient and offered many opportunities to snorkel or dive. We'll definitely return for future excursions when we return.

A must do 3 step snorkel safari on the SW tip of New Providence Island. From basic reef 10 ft deep followed by 20 ft deep sculputres & plane wreck to optional but dramatic outer reef finale with the sharks, lots of them. All this under the eyes of a seasoned pro team. When in New Providence don't just stick... More

I have been snorkeling in the Bahamas before, but never quite like this!!! First off, the buses are very clearly marked Stuarts Cove, so it isn't hard to miss the pink bus waiting to pick you up in front of the fountain once you get outside of the cruise ship terminal. The bus driver said yours is the next bus,... More

only 4 of us on the boat, so loads of fun, getting to know the Capt *Devee" and Dive master "Alex". First dive was the wall, "Sand Shoot" and then NARI NARI. Great dives, really enjoyed seeing the sights for the first time. A must dive with operation.

These guys are great. They're on the opposite side of the island from Nassau, but they have regular buses and shuttles that will pick you up for free. Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. I booked with them last second and they still came out of the way to my hotel in the boonies to pick me up. I had such... More

If you are a diver, like wrecks and love sharks this is a bucket list, can't miss, must do - call it what you want. The staff was great, the guides were great and the sharks were spectacular. I won't ever forget it.

I'm not sure how to describe my experience with our dive master except with the word "nonchalant"-- he was the exact definition: not displaying any interest or enthusiasm. This one of the first times I've been on a dive where the dive masters didn't seem interested AT ALL. They didn't bother asking or learning our names, and didn't converse with... More
