Park your car and you are at the beach. Narrow beach, good spots to snorkel very close to shore. Parking is limited and there are no services at the beach. Great place to meet locals.

This spot may not be as nice as truck bay, but it offers great sand, no rocks and good snorkeling with lower volume of people. I arrive at 9:30 on a Tuesday and was the only person on the entire beach. Parking is good here...More

Hawksnest beach has a long beach with facilities and picnic tables. It has both sand bottom and coral to accommodate those who want to snorkel or just play in the water. The coral runs from very shallow near the beach to approximately 15 - 20...More

This beach is only a cab drive away from Cruz Bay and is one of the first heading north. It has parking, restrooms, dressing rooms, grills and picnic tables. The beach is not deep but is gorgeous and many people snorkeled. It's not a long...More

This is a great beach in the bay. Very quiet and very clean. Great place to see sea turtles and swim with them. I brought my GoPro cam and got some great video here. Not overcrowded at all.

Plenty of parking spots, resident sea ray manta on shore. Excellent clear water beach. It was not crowded on a Wednesday afternoon. Sit on the sand or enjoy a nice beach in St John, make sure you see the sea ray on the shore. Recomended....

Nice sand, great reefs (full of elkhorn) right off beach. Not much to see on the rocks to the south (between Hawknest and Gibney/Oppenheimer). Also not much to see on the rocks to the north of Gibney/Oppenheimer (and I swam most of way out to...More

easy to get to and plenty of parking. We took our snorkels out and had a nice time. The water was warm and the waves were calm. Plenty of coral to see the fish. The beach has places you can grill

This is a great spot to snorkel but it has quite a drop off and is a bit difficult to enter and exit. That said, the snorkeling is fabulous with a great collection of coral and tropical fish. We often see many squid and on...More
