The good news: this world-class stretch of white sand and turquoise water is St. John's most photographed beach, which features a marked underwater trail for beginning snorkelers. The bad news: because of its popularity, it can get very crowded with cruise ship passengers and members of sightseeing tours.

One of the nicest beaches anywhere in the world, good facilities, bathrooms, place to eat, small store. Good snorkeling can be crowded but not too bad in July.

Yes, it is worth it, but Maho is better. Take a taxi to either and you don't have to worry about parking. Trunk has good snorkeling. Maho has sea turtles. Either is a must.
