The good news: this world-class stretch of white sand and turquoise water is St. John's most photographed beach, which features a marked underwater trail for beginning snorkelers. The bad news: because of its popularity, it can get very crowded with cruise ship passengers and members of sightseeing tours.

I was here with my wife and friends to hang out, and snorkel. While the coral is starting to feel the effects of the oceans warming, the beach is still amazing, the the snorkeling is wonderful.

This is an absolutely beautiful beach with lots of birds as well. They serve alcohol and snacks as well, which was a plus.

Great for snorkeling. Enjoyed seeing pelicans and gulls feeding on schools of fish. Nice long beach. Food available.

We day-tripped from St. Thomas on the ferry. The ferry was only $14 per adult round trip. There was a bar at the ferry landing so we were able to take a run punch for the 15 minute ride. We took a big open air...More

One of St Johns premier beaches. Made famous by the roadside overlook. This is my wife's favorite beach on St John. Like living in a post card.

We loved coming here late in the day as most of the patrons are gone by then. Sunset is lovely!! tropical, tropical, tropical!! The lush palm trees that line this beach are thick, and look so lovely blowing in the wind!

A must do while in St John's. The water is crystal clear. The beach is narrow but wasn't very crowded. The scenery is amazing. Not many fish to see snorkeling so save your money. Have a basil drink at the bar. Its refreshing and delish....More

Yes, it is worth it, but Maho is better. Take a taxi to either and you don't have to worry about parking. Trunk has good snorkeling. Maho has sea turtles. Either is a must.

The taxis on St. Thomas (port) and St. John (truck bay location) are usually open safari trucks. Usually four rows of bench seats, covered, with entry on the drivers side. No seat belts. I couldn't imagine how a car seat... More
