This isn't a huge supermarket, but the quality of their produce is good 9with the exception of an elderly bag of preached spinach) and they have a good selection of cheeses 6-packs of smaller sodas; I even found a decent heavy multigrain bread. When I paid with my credit card and then took my packages and left, I'd walked at... More

Dolphin Market is one of the few grocery stores in Cruz Bay. In our experience, it is one of the cheapest, although obviously not cheap as nothing in the island seems to be. Basic items are available with reasonable price, but I would visit other stores too as all of them might have unique discounts that are actually worth it.... More

Based on reading other reviews, let me add: 1) your on the islands, 2) you're a guest into another culture. A culture that moves as a slower pace in life, and expects a "Good afternoon, how are you?" before you launch into your requests/demands. Yes it's more expensive than on the mainland. Consider the logistics of having everything brought in... More

I had been vaguely looking around for eggs for about 10 minutes before asking a staff member where the eggs might be. "No eggs." she says abruptly. "With so many chickens on the island?" jokes me. "Oh well, thanks anyway." Withering look from the egg nazi. A couple of minutes later I walk past the eggs. Boxes of 12 or... More

This place is so cold we have to recommend bringing a sweater (all the staff wear them). Doors are kept open despite the energy wastage. Apart from the Arctic feel Dolphin has the usual outrageous prices that USVI life brings with it, which is obviously not just their fault, but they could certainly source more discount products instead of expensive... We had the privilege of visiting both locations. Both were equally friendly, well stocked. The aisles were tight at the one we frequented more often (Coral Bay), and we just had good laughs with the guy who was trying to stock shelves around us. I've read a lot of one, two star reviews and this is all I have to... More

Walking up to it from the back it can look pretty rough, but inside is actually not bad. They have some of about everything, but not a lot of anything except alcohol. The location is convenient and the prices are normal for here (can of Lysol was $8). The next day we discovered The Starfish Market and never went back... More

Everything is really, I mean really expensive. We stopped here because it was late and it was the first store we found. Everything we bought was either out of code, my bad for not checking, or had turned. I bought some yogurt well within code and they were all spoiled and the milk was also questionable. The employees were rude... More
