We have been travelling to St. John for the past ten years and have tried several different boat trips. Far and away, PJ and the Mermaid was our hands down favorite. The boat is very comfortable and outfitted with great beanbags and music. Guests should know that the boat does not have a bathroom. PJ knows where to stop at... More

You can't go wrong with a catamaran trip with JP. We went to Foxys on Jost Van Dyke (actually met Foxy and played guitar with him as he told dirty jokes to us) and the Sand Dollar bar where you have to swim to shore to get to the bar. Tons of fun.....get off the island and sail with JP.... More

Just to add to Jane's review... We did have an incredible time with JP! While on St. John i planned on 'retiring' my Grateful Dead shirt that went to over 30 shows with me but had become too shredded to wear anymore. JP offered to lay it to rest at Foxys on Jost Van Dyke! JP just sent me pics... More

We spent a day with JP during our recent trip to St. John and it was the best day we've ever had during any of our trips to the island. If you are interested in exploring the area, snorkeling and learning more about the VIs, we HIGHLY recommend JP's excursions. He is the perfect host. I was new to snorkeling... More

We had an awesome day on the water with Captain JP! Our family of 4 had an unforgettable day snorkeling in St. John and in the BVI. We went to Norman Island to the Indians and the Caves. We stopped at the Willy T for lunch and spent some time on the beach at Sandy Cay on Jost. JP was... More

We had a great time with JP in his boat both snorkeling and sightseeing. While in the water, he gave us his underwater camera to take pictures. Two days later, he had gone through them and emailed the best ones to us. While reading the reviews, I was trying to figure out what the big deal was about beanbags. But,... More

Make sure you go to the willie t and jump off the top deck, awesome.... Stop at Sandy Cay and get the very best photos of the vacation. JP was wonderful and had the best price on the island. Beanbag chairs rock. Don't go with anybody else.

Captain JP creates the best experiences. He really caters to your group so everyone is happy, and puts in special effort for the nervous snorkelers (lots of patience!) We highly recommend a day with Captain JP!

Absolutely brilliant tour, the sailing was amazing, perfect cocktails & snorkeling. Captain JP is the best captain EVER!!! As a solo traveler, the crew made my experience unforgettable. I was very lucky to have been able to see whales on my sail. JP immediately stop the boat to watch the amazing spectacle. I will always be grateful for that magical... More
