We have taken 4 ferry rides so far and have had a good experience over all. One time they were down a ferry and it took quite a bit longer than usuaul. But, taking into account the island resources and the like, we are happy with the service. Fortunately, we were a little early the time there was a big... More

A ferry is one of those things you mostly write about if you have a bad experience, but the Red Hook-Cruz Bay ferry is just a solid, reasonably-priced transportation option -- and since it operates in some of the most beautiful waters in the world, pleasant as well. From the airport in Charlotte Amalie, you'll pay about $24 for two... More

We were unfortunate to have the same employee , Cherell, both ways to and from the island. She walked away from the counter at Red Hook and took a 15 minute break. She then came out and went to the restroom without saying a word. On the way home, she was at the Cruz Bay counter. It was supposed to... More

Great trail! His is a full day hike, plan to give it the time it deserves. Another reason to donate to our National Parks, they are a true treasure!

The ferry is a great way to get from St. Thomas to St. John. Make sure you arrive at least 30 minutes before sail. And then be patient. Upon our return the ferry was 2 hours late. Just stay on island time and you will be ok!

Love the ferry to St John. 14.00 round trip. No credit cards cash only. Short ferry ride to St John then quick taxi to Trunk Bay beach National Park. Beautiful Island. Ferry is quick and easy.. Be on time....

We stayed at Secret Harbor and used the ferry to get over to St John. It runs ever hour on the hour and is only $7 one way. You get a nice view of some of the island during the approx. 20 ride. We went over to St John a couple of times while we were there.

What a great way to travel. Reasonably priced and convenient! If you are early enough to have a drink, get a to go cup as bottles are not permitted on ferry! My hubby had to chug MY red stripe! Not that he minded!

We always fly into St. Thomas, rent a car, and then take the ferry over to St. John's from Red Hook. It's a fairly short ride and quite enjoyable. It costs $50 round trip. Cars rented on St John are not allowed off the Island, so we've never had to show our receipt on the way home. It's a little... More

Inexpensive way to see another island. You can take the passenger ferry or the car ferry. Nice scenic ride across from St. Thomas to St. John. It runs every hour until midnight so there is no hurry. The trip takes about 15 minutes each way. Nice shops, and restaurants.
