Its a Ferry.. LOL If your in a hurry be sure and get there in plenty of time in case the Ferry is full and you have to wait on the next one.

Easy way to visit other islands for not much $. Terminal is easy to access. Signage explains everything you need to know and lots of local food available while you wait for the ferry.

$7 each way from Red Hook to Cruz Bay - runs every hour on the hour. Don't be late - they won't wait!

We took the Red Hook ferry to the island, everyone was very helpful loading and unloading luggage and making sure we had a taxi to take us to our resort.

For a local ferry, this was by far the best and most comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. And it was on time.

When we weren't taking the car barge, we took the ferry. It was such a nice and enjoyable ride. The scenery was perfect and the ride really smooth. Buy the round trip tickets and save. Ride on the top to get the best views.

Island hopping is a popular activity in the Virgin Islands, unless you like your vacations relaxing by the pool and your favorite beach every day ( great vacation idea also). renting a car is reasonably priced and very convenient as cabs get a bit expensive....More

The ferry runs on the hour most of the day so you could manage a quick trip. it runs more frequently early am for workers during the week. Bars and shops are easy walking distance from the port in St. John.
