Nice ferry ride over to St John

Flew into St Thomas - long cab ride over to Red Hook since we missed the last CA Derry at 5:30. Ferry was clean, short smooth ride to St John

Enjoyed the ferry ride to the Island. clean boat, and very nice crew. was a little shocked that they charged for the baggage $4.00 pr bag.even for a carry on type airline bag. Otherwise fare was reasonable

Took a weekend trip to St Thomas with my daughter and took the ferry over to St John for the day. The price is only 7.00 each way and the ride is smooth and quick. Definitely a must do to enjoy both islands.

We used the Red Hook Ferry to get from St. Thomas to our destination of St. John and then back to return home. Very easy to use. Great staff

We decided to rent our car in St Thomas to simplify things for our trip over to St John. Ferry was on time- the one we tried to make was full so we grabbed a beer and waited until the next ferry. We were already on island time. It is a 30 minute drive to Red Hook from the airport... More

Took the ferry to St. John for a day. Drove a short distance to the dock, waited in line. We were directed to drive on the ferry. Very efficient. Nice scenic ride over to St. John. Drove off, went to visitors center to get directions. Very helpful people there volunteering. Drove around Island. Got lost on our way back to... More

This is a good way to get to St. John. If you are going to the airport though, it might be better to try to take the Charlotte Amalie ferry that puts you in town to avoid athe long ride over the mountains in St. Thomas and additional taxi and luggage charges.
