We take the Red Hook Ferry to Cruz Bay and the ride is always a beautiful ride. Just looking around at all the islands is dreamy. The anticipation as Cruz Bay comes into view is breathtaking!! I feel like I just arrived back home ❤️

This is one of two ferrys to St John. They have new boats that are much faster than the old ones and get you shore to shore in 20 minutes

So beer by the landing and a pleasant ride, but this is no pleasure cruise. The ferry in functional and you should not expect anymore than that... This NYC Mass Transit. The ride was pleasant enough but you should be prepared to tip if you...More

Very old, grungy, outdated ferry boats with terribly fumey diesel engines. Seemed to run ontime and it's a short ride but sad to see such clouds of diesel exhaust behind these boats. Really should be updated. Also got over charged for luggage but probably my...More

Quick and easy...car ferry to St John. Pay the one way cost so you aren't locked into a specific return ferry. Costs a few dollars more, but worth the freedom to take any return to St Thomas. If you have a rental car it is...More

As others have stated this is a short fast ferry to St John. My advice, its cash only for the tickets, makes sure you have enough. $7 each way when we went.

Only ferry in town, but efficient. Unless you are bringing a car over from St. Thomas , this is the easiest way to get to St. John with "public transportation".

Yes, there are two different ferries. One thing you might consider is many of the rentals in St. John are brand new Jeeps; which are probably better vehicles for the island. We got a beat up car in St. Thomas; and... More

The ferry runs on the hour most of the day so you could manage a quick trip. it runs more frequently early am for workers during the week. Bars and shops are easy walking distance from the port in St. John.
