This location is just off of Centerline road at the Virgin Islands National Park sign. There are no signs for the site itself. Its just a few hundred feet up a gravel and concrete road with parking up at the windmill site. One of the...More

No signs for this well kept secret - ruins in much better condition than Annaberg. Travel Rt 10 and take Rt 206 which is gravel and bumpy for maybe 500 yards - and there it is. No signs on 10 for these ruins but well...More

As with many of the other recent reviews, I agree that these are the most intact ruins I saw on the island. They are right off Center Road down a very bumpy badly maintained road. The windmill structure was superb and you could go right...More

These ruins are some of the more intact ruins on the island. We have gone both da and night and found the night time visit to be very cool!

These were our favorite ruins on the island! Easily accessible (right off of Centerline Road), no crowds, and you can explore inside the buildings! Being under the windmill felt like discovering a hidden room with Indiana Jones, and being able to climb inside the mill...More

Ah, history... I stood amongst the ruins and could feel what life was like for the slaves that worked this mill. History is not always pretty, but the remnants of this history mill, are certainly worth the hike.

Just off of Centerline Road, the main route across the island, yet it could be a million miles away. We drove past Highway 206 several times before I decided to go off-road and check it out. So glad I did. Soon as you get 500...More

This set of ruins is amazing. No crowds like Annaberg ruins. The craftsmanship of the buildings is to be admired. We spent over an hour wandering the grounds and not one other person showed up to check them out. These are not to be missed.

Can you imagine all the man hours digging, carting, stacking all these lava stones...backbreaking work for months, if not years. Eerie place, felt the souls that were there all those many years ago.
