This was a nice beach. There is an entrance fee, maybe $5 USD (not exactly sure on price). Chairs and umbrellas are available for a charge. Many of the palm trees were toppled during the hurricane, but they have started cleaning up the dead trees...More

We visited on our recent cruise, not sure what we would find as we crossed the very devastated island from the cruise port. We found a quiet, clean beach with much of its original charm intact, though the shade trees are gone. they are actively...More

My hubby and I stopped on St. Thomas during a Celebrity Summit cruise last a Friday. The hubs and I got married on this beach and wanted to return. We were pleasantly surprised with the rebuilding efforts! Yay! It will be back as will we!

Beautiful beach, small waves, nice snack grill bar. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Clean crisp water. Met the friendliness from tourist and staff there. Flood was priced fair and the food delicious.

Pure bliss. Waters with crystal clear visibility 15+ feet away, pristine beach, gorgeous jungle surrounding the bay, even some very friendly iguanas. Great during the day doing the typical beach hangout experience with friends/family/SO, but my most treasured memories are visiting at sunset. The crowds...More

Despite the recent hurricanes, VI beaches are still beautiful as ever! This beach was so beautiful. We even rented kayaks here as well.

We took a tour out of the ship to shop on the Main Street of St Thomas and then to the beach for a couple of hours at Magen’s Bay. There are still great bargains downtown especially now they are trying to regroup after the...More

There are several taxis/shuttles available from the main port. You’ll see them towards the end of a street full of tourist shops. From the port they charge $10 US per person, one way. Bit pricey for a family and there’s a... More

Before the hurricane, however the storm would have been less disruptive due to the location of Magnes Bay.

The island is not open right now. You may want to wait until the end of hurricane season at this point, probably late November. I'm not able to get back home myself as the airport is closed.
