The color of the water is a pure aqua and the shore seems to go forever. Is family friendly. Still is as beautiful as it was thirty five years ago!

Great beach, very clean. Just over crowded but worth the visit. Watch the ship schedule if you are staying on the island!

Soft sand, beautiful views, nice facilities. We even saw a turtle while snorkling. Probably one of the better places for a low key day.

We had planned on going to St. John's, but after a long day the day before, we stayed local. This is a beautiful beach and swim. We just hung up our hammocks, laid around and snorkled. Lots of amenities.

Can't express how beautiful this beach is. Long stretch of sand, Crystal clear warm waters. Ideal location for snorkelling. We were in the water and a turtle popped his head up beside us and went on his way. Fantastic. We took some great photos here....More

Magen's bay is a must see on st thomas. Even though it is touristy when the cruise ships come in, it is still worth it. The water is beautiful and the bar is a fun spot to hang out and have a few drinks.

We've been to Magens Bay every day since we've been here. If you go before 8, admission is free. There is a lot of parking, plenty of picnic tables and room to spread out. Snorkeling is great...saw plenty of fish, saw a sting ray and...More

We had the WORST experience with the chair rental service at Magen's Bay. The man who rented the chair to us didn't even help my boyfriend get the chairs from the storage area. I believe for $10 a chair the least he can do is...More

Yes we took a safari taxi to Magen's Bay and he actually waited for us for 2 hours as it was late afternoon. Gave him $20 round trip per person including tip.
