All 7 of us (2 Parents & 5 "20-somethings" "kids" Lol) Went to Magens for a full day. We packed sandwiches and brought beach blankets. The water at Magens is calm, shallow, and good for swimmers of all skill levels. There are lots of fish, so bring a snorkel. There is minimal shade on the beach, so bring proper clothing,... More

Please take david's tour to see this bay from 6 angles. If you just drove up to this place you are missing out on view that pictures will not tell the story. This beach is a real gem of this island.

Magens Bay is beautiful setting, particularly as seen from above on one of the mountain roads, but we went to Magens Bay Beach two days in a row, and on both days rain was coming down in buckets. There was an admission fee of $6 per adult which seemed silly to pay when you couldn't see 10 feet in front... More

Wow this beach and bay is magnificent. Well worth a visit, walk on the beach, swim, snorkel, a picnic. How ever you want to visit even if for 30 minutes well worth the effort.

We recently spent part of the day at Magen's Bay beach while visiting St Thomas on a cruise. We did not take the ship's excursion, instead we disembarked as soon as we were allowed and grabbed a taxi (note: the taxi stand is a decent walk from havensight pier). After a short ride we arrived and had the beach almost... More

Magens Bay was part of an island tour that my wife and I took last week. It is truly spectacular visually...probably the prettiest area of St. Thomas.

We were planning on going to Morning Star beach but ended up travelling with others to Magens Bay . It is beautiful but there were a lot of people there and there are a lot of trees, which is good for the ones who prefer shade. Lots of small pebbles and shells washing in on shore and a bit of... Spent several hours here as part of a cruise tour, there were shady trees - picnic benches and nice facility (toilets, showers and changing area). Several people were over-run with ants when placing personal items on the table - we had no problem. Water was clean, not rocky and like bath water. Overall a nice time.
