I went to this beautiful garden with my family. Let me say, words cannot describe how utterly majestic the garden is. It was such a sight to see the diverse collection of plants as well as animal species in the garden. The owner and her friend were so warm towards us. Talking to them felt as if they were old friends of ours. They made the trip to the garden all the more enjoyable. I would give this place a limitless amount of stars if I could.

We spent an hour in this pleasant garden and took lots of photos of stunning flowers and a great variety of plants. We learned a lot from the detailed explanations. Cost is $10 per person. The road is one way so you need to make sure you are driving up the hill with the garden on your right. Four car parking in front of the entrance. They sell juice, snacks, gifts and fresh eggs ($8 a dozen, a very good deal for St Thomas).

We stopped here on the way to Megans bay. It is worth a stop. It is a beautiful garden if you like botanical gardens which my travel group does... but it would be worth it for the views alone! there are a couple of spots where it opens up and you can see megans bay so perfectly from this spot!!

We visited Phantase on a beautiful cloudy rainy day in the morning. This is a garden for the sure-footed traveler. Steps through the thick forest and lovely flower lined paths create this beautiful botanical getaway. The interpretive signs were helpful and made the experience much more meaningful. There are benches and seating areas along the trails as well as a restroom for guests. Ponchos are offered for an additional $2 if needed. The staff was very pleasant and called a taxi for us once it was time to head out.

We planned to visit the garden on another day but it didn’t happen. On checkout day we drove up the hill on our way to the airport and was greeted by one of the sweetest ladies on the island who immediately launched into an informative description of the garden and all the sights we should be on the look out for. We climbed up and down to view all the beautiful plants and flowers imported from all over the world. It is clearly a labor of love to maintain this property and the pride shined through with each encounter with our greeter and the owner. We were there about 45 minutes and it was a worthwhile excursion and great way to spend our last few minutes on the island.

What a gem! There are not many purely nature-oriented activities on St. Thomas, but this Botanical Garden is such a treat for a short visit. The number of different plants is astounding, and the flowers are beautiful. It's an easy walk through the gardens with benches for sitting and admiring. There are also turtles, parrots, and chickens. The woman working the booth was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Incredible garden, just stunning!! The guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. I took my daughter on our last day in St. Thomas and can't beleive we almost skipped it! It's such a beautiful place, I only wish we'd had more time to explore!

The Phantasea Tropical Botanical Garden in St. Thomas, U S Virgin Islands, is what I would call a MINI EDEN GARDEN. It was a delight to have visited the gardens and seen the many varieties of Orchids, Bromeliads and the so many other varieties of tropical plants. I was lucky to have spotted a pair of Hummingbirds during my short visit to the Gardens and The Bananaquit (The State Bird of St. Thomas). This is to thank Patsy who conceived and put together this beautiful garden for all nature enthusiasts to enjoy.
