Beautiful Old Cathedral

This is a great church for Sunday worship. The music is fun and be prepared to sing every verse :) They have recently gone through a major renovation and it shows.

Well worth the short walk from the shopping area. A school is associated with the Cathedral and is pleasant to listen to their laughter while gazing at the beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful old cathedral and recently restored. Not in the safest part of Charlotte Amalie. We visited at mid day for photos but I don't think I'd feel safe here at night. If you're in the area it's worth a visit. Just watch your back.

We were on St. Thomas for Easter and attended the 8:30 am mass. The singing was beautiful and the service was very nice. The church is beautiful and the parishioners were very friendly!

We went here for Sunday mass. Gorgeous church with beautiful murals. The priest asked those who wanted special blessings to come forward. Several people did. He blessed us last and made us feel so welcome

This is amongst the most beautiful catholic churches we have ever entered. There are painted ceilings and sculptures and statues like we have never seen anywhere else. We were so happy that we took the time to visit this beautiful place. The Padre allowed us to take pictures, respectfully of course. It is a beautiful place of prayer and very... More

This cathedral was just restored to its original splendor. The marble pillars, statues, and paintings on the walls and ceilings are historic in origin and rival what you would see in Rome.

Attended the 6 pm Saturday Mass. Beautiful church. PA system created an echo which made it hard to understand Priest sometimes. A/C made it comfortable. Very welcoming, but parking a bit of a puzzle to find.

Visited the church and attended the Palm Sunday Mass on Saturday evening. This is a very welcoming community and if you wish to attend services while visiting St Thomas, you will be pleased that you chose this beautiful church. There are a number of Mass options on Saturday and Sunday. The priests and congregation will make you feel right at... More
