Limited free parking. A few small shops selling souviners in the parking lot. Worth a stop on the way up to the Mountian top.

This was my favorite view on the island. The seat makes me sad! It is crumbling and held up by wood and needs to be restored. The road can be dangerous crossing so beware.

The view is a 5 and the seat in itself is not something that takes you forever to look at but add the history around its origin and you will like it

If you want a great view of famous Magen's Bay, this is it. Sit on Drake's Seat and relax. Sir Francis Drake did not actually sit here though. My grandfather Achille Lindesay hand crafted the stone structure in the 1940's.

Drakes seat itself itself is pretty insignificant, just a bench on a rock, however, the views are amazing and it's incredible to think that you are standing/ sitting where one of the great explorers once stood

Nice pull off on the side of the road with an amazing view. I wish there were more places like this or maybe I missed them...but STJ seemed to have a bunch of places like this.

Truly is one of the best views of the island. The area is tiny and parking is limited so it would be easy to miss if you weren't careful. There are no signs at the crosswalk for traffic to slow down so cars zoom around...More
