Good afternoon, thank you for your question. I'll start by saying that all of our horses are rehabilitated rescues from around the island and that our job of being a rescue takes priority over our tours at ALL times. Our horses are very, very rarely tied to trees. They are trailered to the trail head and trailered home after the ride where they go into a large oversized community paddocks. All of the horses are able to lay, eat and drink freely, roll and do as they please when not working. at this time, we have 22 horses in our rescue and only 7 actively participate in the tour activities I think your question would be more suited to the trail riding outfit on Northshore...I am not at liberty to comment on the living conditions of the horses there, however, it is my opinion that their living conditions would likely fit your concerns.
Thank you so much for taking the time to ask about the conditions for the horses on our tours!! I truly wish more people would do the same for all animal based tourism businesses.
