You have to go to the west end of the island to see the sunset at least once during your visit. There are a variety of beaches and restaurants up and down the shoreline so there is plenty to choose from and there is something...More

Much cleaner and nicer with better restaurants and not so afraid to be out after nighttime. We enjoyed it there and wish we had stayed on that side of the island.

They have a Friday Jazz Night in the Park once every month, and it is very enjoyable. Ther is good music, all kinds of good drinks and a good time for all

We visited during a Caribbean cruise, it is a lovely, sleepy, small town worth walking round but not much to do.

This town is completely different than Christiansted. Feels different, more activity on the street and only a few little shops.

I am reluctant to write a review on Frederiksted - because it breaks the mold of every other caribbean / island town ... while the big towns on the other VI's are busy, hustling & crowded - Frederiksted is old school and just as beautiful...More

This is the smaller of the 2 towns on the island. Christansted is the larger town. But Frederiksted is the quieter of the 2. You will only find 3 shops here to look for treasures. Not many restaurants to choose from. But a quaint little...More

We were very surprised when driving in this area of the island. The town itself is very, very run down. It seemed every other building was either burned, abandoned or dilapidated. While the beaches & surrounding areas were pretty. It just seemed almost deserted. Maybe...More

This is an awesome little store for pretty much everything I couldn't find on island all in one clean, adorable, friendly shop. The owner (Chester) is a very friendly astrological and makes shopping there so fun! Thanks, Chester We will definitely be back!!!!

Our first impression of this town was not good, I have to admit. But as soon as we walked around and took the time to find out about its history we looked at it with different eyes. Where we first saw dilapidated houses we now...More

Hello We are planning our trip to PR and we were wondering about availability on 11/27/15? Nothing to crazy more of local tour and scenic stuff for photos ...would like to see rain forest / water fall but not sure how hard a hike that would be. Old San Juan and some local and historic stuff? Thanks!

No. We were not in Frederiksted on a Friday. It sounds like it would be worth going to.
