After 20 years of visiting St. Croix, I finally visited this lovely site and was very glad that I did! I would suggest combining a visit with a trip to the West End beaches as it is about five minutes north of Rainbow Beach. After you pass the first National Guard buildings, start looking for a low sign on the... More

Really enjoyed this plantation. Almost missed the small sign on route 63. The drive up is a bit bumpy on the dirt road, but worth the trip. Walk the labyrinth in your bare feet to really experience its power.

This is a self guided tour and walk so be prepared to do some research online before visiting. It is a drive up a rutted dirt road so make sure your vehicle can handle it. Bring a good camera and be sure to take a lot of photos...

We visited with friends who live on the island, otherwise I suspect it would be a challenge to find. It's worth the trip to walk the labyrinth and wander the grounds. It is surprisingly peaceful considering the history. There is a gorgeous tree with beautiful wind chimes with a bench underneath. It is a place that inspired us to speak... More

this is private property but the owner allows people to look around in the ruins. it is self guided, and there is one guide sheet available in one of the ruins. It was a long drive to get there from the east end but I think it was worth it

Highly recommend checking this place out, very quiet and tranquil place to take a walk and look at the ruins of a sugar mill operation. Thoughtfully laid out with a meditative labrynth this is a good addition to those people who enjoy and like to contemplate history, and have visited other sugar mills.

A friend recommended that we check this very historical site out. Completely not what I was expecting. When we rolled up, we didn't see another person in site. It literally felt like we had the place to ourselves. We took our time exploring the ruins and soaking in the incredible history. Because of the tranquility of the estate, is was... More
