About
This rocky promontory, the easternmost point in the United States, juts into the Caribbean Sea and features "The Castle," a huge mansion perched atop the cliffs and which resembles India's Taj Mahal and a Moorish mosque.

Named after Stewart Udall. It is the easternmost point in the United States. The view is great, a view of Buck Island which is part of the first national park that is water. Good for a short visit to enjoy the uniqueness and the view.

Enjoy some of the smoothest road on the island driving to the unique location. The views are worth the drive and the architectural feature is a bonus. Definitely worth the drive - then stop at Jacks bay for another hike and swim.

Nice monument on the eastern point of St. Croix. There is room to drive around the monument and stop for pictures. No one is there to explain anything. There is a path to a beach but I wouldn't want to climb back up. It might...More

A new tradition by all means, I hosted a pajama sunrise breakfast at Point Udall on the 1st of January 2019. Arriving at 4 a.m. we welcomed the first ray of sun at the easternmost point of the United States, amidst affirmations, light chatter, and...More

Came out here on Jan 1st 2019 and was one of several people to be the first to see the sun in 2019 which was very cool. The sun coming up up there is just indescribable. So pretty

Beautiful view any time of day from the monument. Perfect to view the sunrise or view the stars on a quiet night.

Point Udall is a fascinating monument built on a high bluff overlooking the sea. It’s a fitting tribute to a true environmentalist.

Point Udall is the easternmost point in the United States. When we visited we were the only people there. it was very calming. Everyone raves about the beautiful sunrises from there but we saw an amazing sunset when we were there. Definitely check it out!

This is fantastic vantage point to see MILES out to sea, from the elevated vantage point on the eastern most part of St Croix! See from a distance, beaches that turtles come to to lay their eggs. Take pictures of the beaches to pick out...More

Stunning views!! Kicking myself for not going early enough to see the sunrise on the horizon. Made it there in the early morning, but next time I want to watch the sun come up. Ocean all around. Love hearing and watching the waves. Just beautiful!

Probably a little tough return hike up the trail to the parking lot for the 18 month year old. Fun down hill. Round trip to Jack's bay is about 1.5 miles. Even though we are in our 70s this was an easy hike with wonderful... More

I'll defer to the locals for accurate crime stats, but as a recent visitor, I'll do my best on the east end. The east side is beautiful and has some incredible views. It is much more quiet, and many areas would best be... More
