The fish fry is a fun atmosphere with live music, plenty of food and drink choices and souvenirs for the guests. Expect to walk a distance to get in if you don't arrive early and the only downside was the lack of places to sit to enjoy a meal and a drink unless I missed something. I did not mind... More

On the beach for stalls of food, drink and wares to buy. Lots of locals and tourists. Fun for a night usually crowded and hard to find a spot to sit and eat - head to the beach to do so. Take a taxi if you don't want to drive as they line up to take folks to and from.

I wanted a local town with restaurants or "huts" for local fish and to walk around. This place is packed with all the resort people looking for the same thing. It's about 50 yards long, narrow and crowded. Cost us $40 for a 5 minute cab ride. Not worth visiting. A local told us to visit Conch "something". I can... More

This was a good time. We got to sample local food from different vendors, kids had fun dancing to the live band. A little crowded but we were there on a busy week.

We knew from past experience that the fish fry can be a very busy place. This time we went at the beginning and were able to shop the vendor and food stalls before the crowds grew. Bought a lovely bracelet from Wellington as he was setting up and a delicious meal of "fish & frys". Even found a picnic table... More

This event was definitely an experience for me and my son. It felt good to know that we were supporting the local economy when we purchased our food/souvenirs. Food wise; it was fresh and delicious and the staff were all very friendly. A live band really set the mood, and it made us want to get up and dance! So... More

Loved going to the Fish Fry and meeting several locals and other tourists. What a great evening of fun, food, dancing, parade and shopping. The frozen mixed drinks were so tasty and presented beautifully in a fresh pineapple.

My only disappointment on the Islands. Billed as a local event where tourists were welcome, that description is no longer operative -- if there were locals there who were not working a food stand I did not see them. It was, the night we were there, at least, strictly a tourist event. That said, the array of food and craft-y... More

There was lots of food but most was pre-made. The only locals were those manning the booths or playing music. We got there early as I'd read reviews that the lines were long. We walked home along the beach after sampling one meal.

We typically enjoy an island fish fry night. Barbados is one of the best. Couldn't find a place to sit down. I literally had to throw my dinner away. The conch was so bad and smelled bad. My son and husband ordered the snapper and it was not what we expected. Oh and the flies chased us as soon as... More
