This beach is several kilometres long and waist deep for hundreds of meters into the sea. Best spot not only for kiteboarding pros but also to give it a try as a newcomer to this intriguing sport.

Spent the day here. Met a few locals and watched our first kite surfing, it was so cool, will try it when we go back. A little windy, but shallow out to what seems like half a mile, so great for kids

This is our 6th time in Turks and Caicos and this year we decided to rent a villa on Long Bay! WOW! Water is knee deep for at least 2 kilometres. This is the perfect place for kite surfing, paddle board, kayak etc... Turkoise water and white sand for kilometres.

This is such a beautiful beach. It can't be compared to Grace Bay because it's so different. Shallow water out thousands of feet and beautiful winds make it the perfect place for kite boarding. We saw up to 12 people kite boarding this past weekend. Just an amazing thing to see. To find it, follow Leeward Highway North to The... More

Still one of my favourites on the island. I am always pleasantly surprised how the island could have so many tourist and long bay ends up being still like your own private beach. One point to note this beach has incredibly soft sand so it's very difficult to run on. As well the water is low to your knees for... More

Great beach with no one there when we visited. Plenty of sand & water to have for yourself. No facilities, but it's a quiet beach. A resort down the beach, no crowds. Bring your lunch and enjoy a day of peace. It has a few picnic tables. Beach is beautiful, easy to get to.

This beach is at the south end of the island and is renowned for kiteboarding; it can be quite windy hence the popularity. We usually go spend an hour there to watch the kite boarders. There is really not much to see besides that, e.g. no facilities, no restaurants, etc.

This beach was secluded, romantic, family-friendly, safe for children and beautiful! There were kite surfers to watch and people on horses walking by at times. What more could you ask for?

I have been here several times and the water is so beautiful. During the winter months it seems that the water is rough and lots of kite boarders. I have also have been here during the summer months and it is much calmer.

Tons of conch shells! Beautiful beach, but very windy. There were a lot of wind surfers when we got there.
