This was just a 10 minute drive from our Grace Bay Hotel. Public parking and a very short walk to the beach next to the Coral Gardens Resort. I took my boys ages 8, 10 and they handled it easily without life jackets. The salt...More

Agree with the reviewer below in that due to humans, the coral definitely needs some time to heel (we also went to Smith's Reef where the coral has places that are much healthier). Please people, don't stand on the coral! Anyway, the abundance of fish...More

Terrific convenience having this small reef right off the beach. Fish are there and cool to see. The coral though has taken a beating. It doesn’t pop with color like it once did. Maybe hurricanes, maybe suntan lotion, maybe humans being idiots, not sure. Still...More

My family really enjoyed snorkeling the reef. It was very healthy. Tons of fish to see. We got some great video and even better memories.

The snorkeling at Princess Alexandra National Park right on Grace Bay Beach was amazing. We saw giant turtles, barracuda, underwater monuments along with all kinds of beautiful fish. Go in the morning when the reef has not been stirred up yet.

Snorkeling is something my family has always wanted to do, but had a slight fear of trying for some reason. We are so glad we took the advice of our condo manager and tried Coral Gardens first before booking our snorkeling boat charter. My husband,...More

My husband and I had a ton of fun snorkeling at Bight Reef. There was an endless amount of colorful fish to view and we also saw a sea turtle and a HUGE puffer fish! Bight Reef is near Somewhere Cafe and Windsong Resort. If...More

If you need to kill an hour come here but too many people snorkeling and not much to see. You are not allowed to snorkel in the protected area but the area does allow easy access into the water.

We stayed at the Windsong Resort (right next to Coral Gardens) and this reef is just to the left of the resort as you're facing the ocean. The reef itself is roped off to protect it, but you can snorkel around it and still see...More

Free. You just have to bring your own gear. Most hotels on the beach supply it to you. There is a rental right in front but I don't know the costs.

8-9am was the best time for us. We tried multiple times throughout the day but found the most activity at this time because it's before loads of people head out there.
