The coral reef is right off shore. It is surrounded by ropes to prevent swimmers from damaging the coral, but you can snorkel around it. Plenty of fish.

Soft sand, mild waves, beautiful blue colors. This beach stretches for miles. Easy to walk. Beautiful sunset when it's not cloudy.

This is a must do for snorkeling!! It’s free if you have snorkeling equipment but can be rented cheaply. We saw turtles, rays, and barracudas. It’s an underwater park with lots of coral for great viewing of fish

All the beaches in TCI are great so you can't really go wrong anywhere you go. Here its great to bring your own towel, relax on the beach and go for a snorkel

The beach is phenomenal. It deserves it's reputation as one of the best beaches in the world. We really liked Sunset Beach for it's beauty and because it was quieter than other areas.

Having traveled to numerous beaches this area is by far my favorite. The color of the water, the powdery soft sand and the calm easy swimming/snorkeling/paddle boarding is fantastic. There was unfortunately damage from Hurricane Irma but hopefully with time the coral reefs will return...More

30 years ago, the reef was teeming with sealife but after many years of people not respecting the underwater world, the authorities finally roped it off to help things improve. While you can still snorkel and see underwater life, the area has had too many...More

The Princess Alexandra National Park really refers to a quite large area of water off the coast of Providenciales. This, to my knowledge, includes all of Grace Bay through Bight and Smith Reefs. The protected water is gorgeous and there is ample space to spread...More

Beautiful snorkeling in this area. At Smith's Reef, you have to watch the boats because they are NOT watching you! But it is beautiful and teeming with sea life. At Coral Gardens, we saw several sea turtles, a small stingray and several parrot fish. At...More

Definitely check out Coral Gardens if you're looking for the best snorkeling - we saw a sting ray, sea turtles, lobsters, lionfish, and plenty of other colorful but unidentified creatures. It was the best snorkeling by far, even compared to the boat trip we'd taken...More
