The walk to the falls from the parking area is less than half of an hour at an east pace. During the rainy season it may take a little longer due to the wet surface and one may tend to loose footing easily. The fall itself is high . The water is really cool and wonderful especially on a hot... More

Relatively short hike to this location. Worth doing. Best to go with someone who is familiar with the territory. There are lots of Hiking Clubs who have this as one of the items of their yearly schedule.

First, I would advise against driving a small car to this waterfall. I did and I almost got stuck a few times. Most of the road is paved and in fair condition, but higher up towards the parking area the pavement has been washed out and there are some serious ruts and swails to drive though with a lot of... We are recently retired and wanted to see these falls. Our tour people explained you needed to walk to this but we still did not realise that you are wading up the river to the falls some of the time, or walking on paths. You do get your feet wet and the water can come up to your calves. It... More

This was a great experience. Very straight forward and easy to get to the trail as there are well marked signs leading to the trail. At the base of the trail is a picnic area and a fountain of spring water where you can fill your bottles up. The hike was short to get up to the main falls. About... More

We were told this was one of the tallest waterfalls in the Caribbean so we had to see it. We arrived at the foot of the trail and hiked up to see this awesome view and natural wonder. During our visit we were even lucky enough to see a rainbow. We took lots of cool pictures under the falls and... More

A very beautiful waterfall in the northern range. It is an easy hike uphill for about one half mile. it is really a little retreat from the bustle of life

The waterfall itself was nice, but the journey getting there was obviously not worth it. It started by having the taxi driver park in a stranger's yard. After we parked, was when the real "fun" began. The (roughly) 2-mile trek began with a very long stretch of mud. The sandals I was wearing (the tour guide "recommended" that I wear... More
