This is a very small zoo, but it has animals from Trinidad, the Caribbean, and around the world. Its quite impressive for how small it is. I went through it in about an hour and a half and saw everything. The entrance is located up...More

Fun and educational. A lot have work has been done by the dedicated team there, staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Some exhibits under construction but we'll worth the time to visit. Kids had a great time.

Since it was one of the only tourist friendly places in the Port of Spain we had to go to it and it was surprisingly good, very interesting and it beat our expectations. It was a very small fee of TT$30pp and gave us a...More

Felt more like a sanctuary. What it lacks in aesthetics it makes up in character. Reasonable admission, friendly staff who obviously care for the animals. Add to your list of must-dos when in Trinidad, and plan to spend 1.5 -2 hours to see it all.

I have not been here for 35 years and the Zoo is keeping up to standards. The variety is excellent and the conservation policies are superb. It's a great place to see, enjoy and smell the animals.

I thought this was going to be a tiny zoo with not much animals to see. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw so many animals: there were monkeys, giraffes, alligators, bird, fishes and much more. I fed the giraffe Melman, very fun experience. Nice...More

Great diversity of animals. However the setup is more so if you are an avid traveler. Not many people their to give you any kind of info etc. The birds are especially very unique. Plan about 1.5 hours, also within walking distance of the hilton....More
