Located on one side of Woodford Square. It was the original parliament. It has been under renovation for a few years. It still is, with fences and roof covers still in place. Lack of funds is apparently a problem. There was no way to go in. Inspite of this, you can see the grandeur of the building. Hopefully its restored... More

Enjoyed seeing the original parliament. The architecture is beautiful. It was under construction. Wish I could have gone inside.

Although the restoration was supposed to be done in Jan '16 in Oct '16 the building was still covered in scaffolding. It's probably worth a visit once that is done though so check!

The historic building has been under restoration for several years and closed to the public. Only an external viewing from the sidewalk is possible.

At first glance this looks like any other building except for the color, but a closer look reveals some amazing architecture and the story and history is intriguing.

It looks terrible & can be put to better use...why is it taking this long to upgrade? It's been that way for a long time.

The Red House restoration has been in 'progress' for a decade - currently it is in a poor state and covered by scaffolding and a temporary steel structure. In short it is in a state of disrepair.

Its a shame that this historic building has been left in a state of disrepair for so many years. Not much to see as a steel sheet canopy covers the entire building pending refurbishment.

This would be pretty if the construction would finish. From what I hear it has been under construction for an unnecessary amount of time. Anyway, this building is in front of the park so you don't have to go out of your way to see it. I also wouldn't bother doing a city tour as there is not much to... More

Skip this and go to the park instead. The government building is being renovated and is completely covered with scaffolding and even boarded off in some places. Across the street is a park where the people would gather to talk politics and argue there points.
