Brian Lara promenade is a usual passing spot where i commute It basically is a long stretch which has seating along with restaurants near by so if you get hungry you can eat something. In the night is a liming hub for some people.

Trees strategically placed along the promenade provide shade especially on a hot day you are in the heart of the city yet one can find a seat o rest meditate or people watch However more must be done to keep the area cleaner

It was good to see Brian Lara was honoured in such a public way. It was nice to sit in his space in the heart of the city and people watch. Its one of my favourite pastimes.

The area in itself is very interesting and worth the walk, yet, there is a lot of poverty and petty crime in the area, remain vigilant!
