Connecting POS to the subburbs, the Western main Road is the major 2-lane road artery through St. James in Port of Spain. The eastern end is marked by a wrought iron archway and it goes to the tip of the north-west peninsula at Chaguaramas. The St James end has a number of bars that are popular with locals. This area... The location of many fetes. I travelled this road very often during my three week stay. It's a main road to where I was staying with relaxing water views.

We walked all over this road during Carnival with our local friend. He was introducing us to people all over and telling us to try everything. I have no idea what I ate, but it was delicious and I found it here!

The best roti on the street. Miss Khanai is set up on the corner, on the sidewalk, offering the tastiest roti and just a few steps away, you can buy a Carib or Stag to complete the experience!

At nights during carnival you can find great food and drinks. It is best if you can do with a local.

This street is full of bars and food vendor and very busy at nights, especially around Carnival season. Can be fun but be mindful of your surroundings.

Enjoy a trip down the Wester Main Road through the bustling area of St James. This road also takes you to the Fort , Carenage, and the old US base at Chaguramus, where you can enjoy drinks and food at Crews Inn. The road is narrow so use caution when driving.
