Its always great when you get the chance to experience different cultures and lifestyles. Interesting how much we learn and replicate at times

The best part of the museum and art gallery is the actual architecture of the building itself. The exhibits are not the best and the building interior needs significant restoration and upgrade.

A pleasingly eclectic collection of stuff old and new housed in a Victorian pile people liked so much that it was painstakingly rebuilt to the original plan after it was gutted by fire in 1920. Especially charming is the Cazabon Gallery - genteel Victorian landscapes...More

I loved learning about all the history of Trinidad and Tobago as well as seeing the artwork from Trini' artists. Worth the time!

Small museum with free entry giving an interesting insight into local history and culture. It is actually further north than the trip advisor map suggests, being on the corner of Keate Street and Frederick Street, however easy to walk to from downtown PoS.

I visited in November 2015 and was the only person in the gallery that day. The museum offers a mix of art—there was an exhibit on 19th-century watercolors and the view of Trinidad—natural history, and history/social studies. The room on petroleum exploration and extraction seemed...More

As visitors to Trinidad we found this the best place to get an overview of the history, geology, people, economy and culture. The displays are rather dated and sometimes hard to read but are still very informative and thought-provoking. The artwork on display is fascinating....More

It was an average experience, some items were really interesting, however the size of the Museum and the level of service was not great. Though the official time to open is 10 am, the government officials came at their own leisure at ~ 11 am...More
