Visited on way to temple in the sea at 4 PM. Museum was closed. Tried calling phone. No response. The signage showed that it should be open till 5 PM that day.

There is so much information and treasures at this museum detailing the history of Indo-Caribbean culture. Loved it.

I wanted to visit this museum due to my origins and not knowing enough about how my predecessors arrived into Trinidad from East India, there was so much information at the museum from old cooking instruments to chronologies and explanations of what happened during Indentureship....More
