The garden is very beautiful and well maintained. However, they need to manage the times in which they cut that grass and use the leaf blowers. From the time i arrived at 10am, a man was using a leaf blower, he finished at 3pm. This supposed to be a place for relaxation. It was extremely disturbing and could have been... More

As a family we love La Vega. The huts are located in such a way that the children have a lot of fun fishing and you can share the fun with them or just relax and keep an eye on them from the hut. It is a day out that we all really look forward to. In the past few... More

The place gives you all the amenities of a recreation area which you also find (inter) nationally in nature recreaction parks such as shaded seating areas, bathrooms etc. The place and its outline is somehow similar to a state park in the United States including the possibility to do short hikes in the area. The only difference is that La... More

This location is good for cooking and fishing. It is muddy most of the time and the bathroom facilities are not close to the gazebos. Good area for nature lovers. With the chickV issue in our country, I will avoid such locations for now.

La vega is not only known for its local and exotic trees, but also for fun activities like paddle boating, nature walks and fishing. On the estate is a wooden cabin located in a secluded and serene spot.there are the basics such as lights, air con and complete downstairs kitchen. There are 2 standard beds with 2 attic beds that is accessed via a... Whilst the property is relaxing, my party of 28 found the check in process difficult. We spent half an hour going through the process and there were still errors in the billing. The rules were not clearly articulated, better signage will also help patrons understand the do's and don'ts of the property. An improvement in us to me service would... More

Visited La Vega Garden Centre and spent a lovely day with friends. We rented a covered picnic spot and spent the day fishing, kayaking and playing games. What a lovely estate with all its flower and fauna. I would recommend this place.

Spent the day at La Vega. Rented one of their covered picnic spots and spent the day fishing and BBQ. very relaxing and reasonably priced. Had the weather been better I would have explored more of the grounds, I plan to go again.

I spent about 4 or 5 hours at La Vega and enjoyed wandering around to the different areas. The large pond was great for bird watching and I even found a caiman skull off on one side. I also enjoyed listening to the bamboo in the breeze in the meditation garden. I was alone so didn't set up a picnic... More
