Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.

I came to the beach for the snorkeling. The waves were a little choppy, leaving the water a bit cloudy, but I was still able to see some things up close. There were several places with shade and somewhere to sit and place your things. I walked almost all the way to the end at the right most part of the beach and was pretty much left alone. To get to this part of the beach you do have to walk over some rocky portions and some concrete. I would suggest water shoes if you want to go this route. There were a couple vendors at the main part of the beach at the left side, (the entrance) everyone was very laid back. Locals advised water has been choppy since hurricane Beryl.

Beautiful small beach with lovely views over rocks and islands. Backed by trees which provide some shade. Seemed to be a beach for locals with no sun loungers etc. Very peaceful. Would have liked to have stayed there longer than the short amount of time allowed on coach trip from cruise ship.

Clean warm water and a soft sandy beach with lovely views south to neighbouring Young Island. It is a short journey from Kingstown and the cruise port and certainly worth the trip to get out of the Port.

Nice little beach and great snorkeling just off shore you can swim too, There are two ways to drive down to the beach from the main road. Drive down the road that will take you to where there is more sand to walk around and enjoy instead of where the rocks and bathrooms are.

Usually a favorite among the locals and tourists alike. Crystal waters, very scenic with immediate views of neighbouring young island, fort duvernette and the grenadine islands (especially amazing on a clear day). The beach does offer a very relaxing environment when there is less of a crowd.

Beautiful little beach located just into Villa when heading from Kingstown or Arnos Vale. There’s plenty of room to sit and relax on this beach although watch out as the sea rises quite a bit and may wet your stuff. There’s snorkelling out by the rocks where you can see plenty of local fish etc, there’s even eels to see especially in the grass. In terms of food, there’s a hut by the main entrance which sells local food and drink, beers are round 5-6EC (~2US) and there are a few people wandering selling things but no where near as much as in Villa beach

We visited this little beach as part of an excursion along with many other people. When we arrived we we left very disappointed as were everyone elsw. The beach was very small with limited room for a large number of people and did not accommodate any kind of disability or take into consideration age. No sun loungers on offer or bar area. The main sand area was not easily accessible as you had to wade through water and rocks to get there. With this being said views were pleasant and could be an amazing beach is money was invested.

We stayed near this beach and went every day we were on the island. No one harassed us like beach boys, or beggars. The water was super clear. The view from here is very lovely.
